미국 하원 법사위 ‘쿠팡 보고서’ 무엇이 문제인가

: 한국의 노동·시민사회가 고발하는 쿠팡의 불법행위 실태 외신기자 간담회

 

1. 취지

○ 지난 7월 1일, 미국 하원 법사위원회의 행정국가·규제개혁·반독점 소위원회가 “경쟁체제 폐쇄 : 미국에 대한 한국의 차별적 공격”이라는 보고서를 발표함.

○ 해당 보고서 내용은 미국 기업, 특히 쿠팡에 대한 한국 정부의 부당하고 차별적인 표적 규제를 비판하며 한국의 온라인 플랫폼법 입법에 대한 우려를 밝히는 내용.

○ 이에 노동·시민사회단체에서는 미국의 쿠팡 보고서에 대한 문제점을 지적하고, 미국의 한국 정부의 규제 및 입법 개입에 대한 입장을 공유하고자 함.
